In 2004, shock-jock and sleaze-merchant Howard Stern asks his guest, Donald Trump, about actress Lindsay Lohan:
“Can you imagine the sex with this troubled teen?”
As recounted by The Independent, Trump then discusses how much better "troubled women" are in bed.
At least Billy Bush -- who is apparently the only enabler of Trump who has suffered -- was essentially passive when Trump erupted in his 2005 boasts about how his celebrity allows him to grab women's genitals with impunity.
Stern, however, actively solicits such nauseating discussions.
But he's a rather small-time pornographer.
Perhaps the king of sleaze is NBC, which throughout Trump's career has enabled him.
From his TV shows, to reporting his constant chatter about running for office as if it were real news to his actual hosting on Saturday Night Live, NBC has been right there pimping Trump for higher profits.
And they've been at it again after Trump's 2005 comments surfaced.
(True enough, NBC fired Bush from his "Today" show hosting job, but Bush is small time compared to SNL and toupee musser Jimmy Fallon.)
But there's something even more revolting involved these days.
The victims of these alleged assaults now must experience their suffering being used as vehicles by SNL and the other late-night television offerings for laughs -- and, of course, profits.
It seems everybody -- including Clinton whose election now seems assured and even me for this post -- is taking advantage of these women.
At least Trump is finally being deservedly rebuked and vilified.
Not so for the rest of us.
