The New York Times is reporting that a ledger shows Paul Manafort receiving cash payments worth $12.7 million from the party of former Ukrainian President Viktor F. Yanukovych.
An attorney for Manafort rejected the claims.
Manafort's boss has made several glowing descriptions of Putin and recently suggested that the United States accept Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea. Furthermore, it is widely suspected that Russia is responsible for the computer hacking of Democratic Party files that embarrassed Republican Trump's rival, Hillary Clinton.
Putin and his Russian Mafia cronies are a thugocracy that rivals the excesses of the Soviet Union.
But Russia, from Ivan the Terrible to Joseph Stalin, has survived worse, managing to still give the world brilliant contributions in literature, music and other art, along with breakthroughs in science and math that have greatly advanced mankind.
But this Trump infection?
Can Russia overcome a connection with world's biggest sleazeball?
Pray for Russia.
