The Second Amendment never mentions guns, only “Arms.”
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
If it’s OK to ban pipe bombs than it should be OK to ban assault weapons or even guns.
Meanwhile, why can’t we ban certain types of ammunition, or even all ammunition?
In fact, the First Amendment is much more comprehensive in prohibiting restrictions on speech, and yet we have libel laws and other limits on speech.
Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press . . .
The supposed sanctity of the Second Amendment is bullshit.
Talk about judicial activism.
