From when I was a kid with my mother to today in dealing with issues on the job, in church or school and, of course, politics, it always appears to be nothing gets done until women get involved.
Well, maybe not so much with politics.
It seems more like it's all about getting into leadership positions and not doing much else, just celebrating the arrival.
Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and even Elizabeth Warren seem like they so much want to attain and/or retain the top they forget that we expect -- and this is sexist -- them to do more than show off the size of their balls.
From Wall Street to wars, it's all about being just like men.
And perhaps even worse, it seems like their egos -- and the egos of millions of their supporters who think it's only about getting there -- often push aside the women leading real grassroots and progressive movements.
Again, just like the men.
And we see how far that's gotten us.
I know it's sexist, but I've always thought women were different, as in better.
